it’s me, velvet
i have often felt a burning restlessness. a savage beast that cannot be quelled animates itself inside me from time to time.
a person, a drug, a thing — none of these soothe it for any length of time. i always end up right back where i started – dying for an escape.
i am trying to find my fire — setting myself ablaze in the process. like a phoenix.
writing, er, blogging, has helped me find my fire. and keep it. so much elucidation and clarity is gained when i put my thoughts on the screen to you.
and its icing on the cake when you comment. you all inspire me. each and every one of you. with your posts … and your comments … you inspire.
there are many facets to velvet, the blogger. if you think you are surprised sometimes, well, frankly, i gotta tell ya … so am i! and that, my dear friends, is no small feat.
so many thanx to wch, who really opened my eyes to the many riches of the blogosphere.
